Is anyone doing/ done audiology at uni?

I’m planning on doing audiology in 2024. I have heard that it isn’t a very popular course so are the classes quite small and is it competitve?

Hi, I'm a current audiology student and I can confirm that the class sizes are normally small but this could depend on which uni you are applying to. I think audiology is becoming more popular as a course but I don't think it's a very competitive course. It can be quite difficult at times but is certainly not as competitive as optometry. hope this helped :wink:

is audiology ever in clearing? ive applied for optometry but thinking of audiology as back up through clearing if i dont get the grades

There are some courses in clearing already and more could be added on results day. Do some research now on courses and unis, so that you can act quickly if you are in clearing on results day:

I applied to UCL , Leeds ,Manchester, Southampton and Middlesex , now received offers from all , probably going for UCL and Leeds

Have you done any interviews for them, I’ve heard that Manchester do interview, if you have can you tell me the kind of questions they ask??
