Till down a lot of money

Just got home from work there, got finished up early however my problem is that I had forgotten to make my till back up to 100 pound, now I don’t know what will happen. Will I get fired?

You will presumably nee to demonstrate that the money is still there somewhere and that you didn't just take it...provided that is the case I doubt you will be fired. You may well have a discussion about ensuring you complete all tasks appropriately though (as if it doesn't have the set amount of money in it at the start of the day, this may cause issues for the people that day in making change early in the day etc...).
