Wanted some clarification on Msci degrees

If I go for an Msci degree will I get a Bachelor degree at the end of my 3rd year? I know that Msci essentially combines a bachelors with 1 year extra year for a masters but I don't know if it literally gives you both a bachelors and a masters.

What you're talking about is called an "Integrated Master's". It is an undergraduate qualification for which there is an award at the end of the year four only. There is not an award at the end of year three (e.g. a BSc) and then a second award at the end of year four (an MSc).

However, if there is a parallel BSc degree in the same subject, many Unis will allow you to switch to the BSc if you decide mid-degree that you dont want to do the longer MSci course. Check with the Uni to see if this is an option.
