Changing degrees

I am currently in my 1st year studying Mathematics at university but during my time of study I have developed a strong interest to do physics as a degree. However unfortunately I haven't done physics as an A-level, but I am confident that my abilities would be on par with a student who is taking such a subject. Would it be reasonable/possible to negotiate with universities who still accept applications to accept me without A-level Physics.

P.S: My A-level grades are:
- B in Biology
- A* in Mathematics
- A* in Further Mathematics

If you dont meet the standard 1st year entry requirements subjects, its very unlikely that any Uni would allow you to start a degree in that subject, regardless of your Maths year 1 results.

They may allow you onto a foundation year programme but that means you will have 4 years left of study and may not have sfe cover the initial first year
