Does anyone currently work for or previously worked for UKVI as an EO?

I'm currently waiting for my pre-employment checks to go through for the Sheffield office. I'm unsure where I will be placed yet - the job description says it could be work visas / student visas / marriage. Does anyone work within these areas as an EO & can provide more insight - ie training? Possibility of working from home?

There's plenty of information on here about asylum decision maker roles but can't see much about the above departments.
