I'm considering getting a student oyster card as I live in a London borough and will use it during summer, but I'm moving for uni in September and am unsure if it's worth getting? I would have to pay a £20 administration fee for it.
You need to be "[e]nrolled at a school, college or university registered on the TfL scheme". As you won't be enrolled at your school/college over the summer, and you won't be enrolled at your university either, it seems that you won't be eligible for this.
