Hi!

When comparing universities it's a good idea to think about what you're looking to get out of your degree both during and after completion. Is research intensity and impact important to you? Job opportunities? Flexible learning options, e.g. part-time/distance learning? Learning facilities?

A good first step would be to look at both universities module offerings to see which one interests you the most. Ultimately, this is going to be the most important decision you will make because you'll be more likely to engage and get the most out of your degree if you find the course content interesting.

Then it would be a good idea to visit both universities on open days to get a feel for the campus, meet academics and ask any questions you may have about studying MA Education.

Whichever university you choose, both Birmingham and Manchester are great cities to live in as a student (and in easy reach of each other!)

I hope this helps you in your decision making process. If you have any questions about Man Met specifically, you're more than welcome to send us a DM or contact our Course Enquiries team!
