Do universities only look at highest form of education completed ??

Hi
I want to apply for radiography through clearing and meet the A level entry requirements. However I completed a science foundation year for pharmacy.Although I didn't get the 70% to progress on to pharmacy I did pass the course ,but I was told from one university that because I didn't get 70% i don't meet their requirements.I was not aware that this could happen and wanted to know if this would be the same case for other unis ???
They will look at all your post secondary qualifications in general. If you have been out of education for a while (e.g. 3+ years) since your A-levels and the foundation year is more recent though they are more likely to look more closely at the more recent study as they consider that to usually be more indicative of your current ability. However if you did them one after the other though then they'll consider all the information available.
It’s up to the specific uni. If the FY was recent and relevant then it might be of concern, but there’s nothing you can do about it.

Its unlikely that any other Uni will be interested in you given that you have already 'failed to progress' from a Foundation year - especially for an entirely different subject. Looking at apprenticeships might be a more realistic idea - https://www.gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship - or a job in the care sector.
