Sky part time retail sales advisor

I have got a telephone interview for sky where it says so they can get to know me more and was just wondering what questions would they ask? Also, has anyone ever worked for sky, if so were the hours and job okay. I’ve seen the benefits and they are great. My only problem is that the contract is 20 hours per week, I’m happy to work this in the holidays but whilst I’m at college in 2nd year I don’t want to work 20 hours. Does anyone know if I can lower it, 15 or less is what I would be looking for. The job says 20 hours a week over 5 days including weekends. Has anyone worked for sky before? The job is at one of the little pop up stands in a shopping centre and I don’t mind that type of work because I know about sky tv and everything. My worry is that I won’t be able to sell and that’ll cause a problem. Thanks

As you applied for a vacancy requiring someone to fulfil 20 hours a week contract the chances are the contract cannot be changed. Due to the hours stated and the days and times they need the person for within a week. I am sure prior to a job they always give an initial briefing and training to how to be able to sell it’s a mix of knowing product knowledge understanding the pros and drawbacks discussing exclusive sales promotional offers and discounts and ensuring the customer receive best value for money going against their needs and requirements.
