NHS job taking forever to start
I got offered a job with a nearby hospital as a Band 2 HCA in august. Did all pre employment checks, gave in my ID documents and just waiting on DBS and Occupational health. My DBS is taking foreverrr!! I’ve been waiting 3 weeks. Can someone give me a timeframe of how long a DBS check takes and how long occupational health takes. This is my first job and I’m confused tbf. I want to start in November but it’s looking unlikely!
It's the NHS, they get back to you in about 14 months then cancel on you 3 times then go on strike.
