History NEA AQA please help!!!!

I am writing my NEA on Civil Rights for African Americans in the USA. This is a a stupid question, but is using apps like linguix considered plagiarism? It rearranges my sentences and improves them. Also, could I have any tips on how to reference different books or articles without plagiarising them. I've basically been rewording what I've found in the resource I'm using and referencing this, but it feels wrong. From what I know, the only other way is to quote exactly a phrase from the resource. Thank you!
