So last night I was with my boyfriend and I decided to FaceTime my mate to see how things went with her friend. The FaceTime was going good up until my boyfriend decided to call her “ licckle baby” which I what I use for calling my dogs ??

You're overthinking. He was just trying to be funny. Doesn't sound like he succeeded.
To me, this sounds just like a joke. Try not to overthink it, it sounds like an attempt at humour gone miserably wrong.
