Switching to Distance Learning?

Hey!! I’m looking to switch over to a distance learning version of my course - Has anyone done this before and how did it work finance wise?

I’ve received my first maintenance loan already, but i would be applying for a maintenance loan as i have a disability which is the whole reason i’m having to switch to distance learning. Would my current loan be put on hold and what i’ve currently been paid taken off of my future loan payments?

I know my tuition loan hasn’t been paid yet so that can be switched over still, but the whole idea of the maintenance loan and having to sort that is confusing me!

Thanks!

Hi Sadie,

We would require a withdrawal for time full time application so that you can apply as a part time student. Any overpayment will be clawed back from your Maintenance Loan. I have provided a link on how to apply and the form required. You will need to ask the university to send the withdrawal through electronically to us.
