University of Surrey Medical School - A level requirement for Mature student

Hi,

I am a mature student with international Bachelors and Masters degree.

I would like to apply for the Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS 2024 entry and I have a question regarding the entry requirements.

The course page https://www.surrey.ac.uk/undergraduate/medicine-graduate-entry#entry states the below:

A-level (or equivalent): Biology (life sciences) or Chemistry at grade C or above.

Could anyone confirm if only ONE A-level is required to be eligible?

I haven't studied in the UK before, however, looking at other medical schools eligibility criteria, it seems that most require 3 subjects at A-level or Access to HE diploma?

Since I have a family, with caring responsibilities and a part-time job, I can only do A-levels online.

Is this https://www.oxfordcollege.ac/courses/distance-learning-level-courses/ a good option?

Are there better option for virtual A-levels with better course content, tutor support and acceptability for uni?

Would really appreciate any help please.

I can't be sure but I would assume what they mean is out of your 3 A Levels (or equivalent qualifications), one of them must be either Biology or Chemistry at Grade C or above.
It also says Maths and English GCSE at C or above but it won't mean that you only need those 2 GCSE's

Thank you @JadeN92 that does make sense.

Would this https://www.oxfordcollege.ac/courses/distance-learning-level-courses/ be a good choice to do A-levels online?

Or does it have to be Access to HE Science do you know?

Sorry, I don't know anything at all about online A Level courses. Hopefully someone who knows more will come along soon!
