Regretting choice

Hi all
I am 2 weeks into university and I commute from London to get to my campus which is around an hour and a half to 2 hours away. Personally I like my course but the commute Is making me extremely depressed. I’ve got good grades so I can reapply to the top London unis however idk I just don’t think I can handle this commute for the years to come. Any advice?

What is it about the commute which is making you depressed? Is it the inability to socialise so much at uni? Is it the dead (nonconstructive) time? It is stress (traffic jams, train strikes, etc.)?

It’s just idk I’m not feeling it like I had the decision of going to a London uni or studying a course I prefer through clearing. Chose the latter and for some reason I’m just not feeling it. Commute is getting to me and idk if I can do this anymore
It's difficult to offer advice when "for some reason I’m just not feeling it". Is getting accommodation near the university an option?
That is definitely a long commute, do you have any option of living closer? If you've missed university student accommodation then there may be places to rent/house share etc. Otherwise, you could use train time (I'm not sure how you're getting there already) to do university work, then you may 1) be less fed up and 2) have more time when you're not travelling to do the things you enjoy. Or find something you enjoy doing while travelling to make it into a nice downtime during your day. I also don't know how many days a week you're in uni - would there be any possibility of e.g. staying with a friend/somewhere nearer for a night if you have consecutive days, choose modules that mean you're in for longer stints at a time and more days at home, or do any online? 3-4 hours of commuting each time you need to go in to uni seems like a lot and if there's no way of making it better for you then there would be no shame in taking a year out to have some fun/earn some money and reapply for a better situation.

Not really. I just don’t feel like I fit in and the only reason I came her was for the course but the environment is triggering me. Area is so boring and commute is extremely depressing. Idk how I can do this for 4 years. Might just reapply close to home again

Given everything you've written, it sounds like that might be the best option.

Look at halls if yo like your course you might be able to take over free rooms from people who have dropped out.
Change to a uni nearer to London
