Acne is ruining my life

Has anyone ever actually cleared there cystic acne and scars holistically? I’m 20 and I’ve had acne for years but the past year I’ve dealt with the worst cystic acne. There’s no point in me going in detail right now but it’s caused so much issues with my mental health, physical health to a point where I even dropped out of university and left my job a few weeks ago because I can no longer be around people anymore until my acne clears. For people who have not suffered from acne its easy to think that it’s not a big deal and no one actually cares but I could go on about the amount of encounters I’ve had with strangers, friends, fam, work colleagues where there eyes are constantly on my skin whilst I talk or they always find a way to make the conversation about acne or give me tips out of the blue just from looking at me. Really just need help or legit advice from someone that has either gone through this in the past or knows of someone who has cleared there acne without the use of accurate or any other chemicals. I’ve tried everything from skincare to eating clean to natural skincare to eating supplements…nothing works. I feel like stress is playing a big role but I can’t distress if the one factor that is stressing me is something I have to see in the mirror everyday
Hi, this sounds awful, sorry to hear you are going through this.

It sounds like you are looking for medical advice. Have you seen a dermatologist or other kind of medical specialist (not just your GP)? Is it possible that there's something off with your hormone balance (an endocrinologist might also be able to help with this, in addition to a dermatologist)?

What do you mean by 'clean eating'? Have you tried a whole-foods vegan diet for at least 3 months or so? There might be certain foods that are known to cause issues in people who are prone to cystic acne.

Are you seeing a therapist or someone else to talk to about this?

Wishing you all the best!

I understand the situation of yours' acne, most of the people are facing acne in their teenage , you need to drink more water daily as you can and avoid spicy and warm foods ..
Get on isotretinoin then, get a dermatologist referral.
