Is doing a pharmacy degree worth it?

I’m in year 13 and applying for pharmacy but I’ve seen people saying that it’s a dying career and that it’s not worth it as it’s over saturated and might not exist by the time I graduate.
Is this true?

In a nutshell...its complicated. It is oversaturated and it seems that the sector is undergoing a lot of changes. reality is that there are more opportunities presenting themselves in the future which werent there for people who graduated when I did. The degree itself is interesting and can lead to a lot of opportunities if you network your backside off, do lots of extracurricular stuff and get at least a 2:1 (aim for a first however). Medicine will lead to the most opportunities however but there is a conversion course which is due to run next year
