Hi,
I’ve recently completed a Masters in English and am wanting to do a PGCE next year. Am I eligible for a tuition fee loan/maintenance loan? I already used a postgraduate loan for my masters so I’m wondering if the PGCE is counted separately

Hi Jess,

PGCE courses are exempt from ELQ & previous study rules if the course of ITT is 2 years or less in duration & the student doesn't already hold Qualified Teacher Status. *
