Student ambassador roles - any feedback?

I don't have time for a part-time job with set hours so i'm considering doing roles as a student ambassador on campus for brands. i'm studying digital marketing and i want to work in social media so i hope this type of work can help my cv and give me some actual skills.

I can do max 20 hours a week but wondering how hard these roles actually are. is it mostly just handing our flyers and stuff? my friend in the US is a bumble ambassador (bee or whatever they're called :biggrin:

) and she loves it, she's made a lot of friends and basically gets paid to party and do all sorts of campaigns which sounds like so much fun. the closest thing i've seen in the UK at my students union is a new thing called loyal.day that I've never used, does anyone know them?
