I have epilepsy and there is no cure, only trying different meds etc etc. Although I have found for me the best thing is a high protein diet and supplements such as CBD, magnesium, taurine etc as well as my AEDs. You can only have surgery for epilepsy if it occurs in one part of your brain, it can't be generalised. That being said surgery does not guarantee the seizures will stop. Considering it's one of the most common neurological conditions in the world, it's a bit crap really. Doctors just don't understand enough about it.
