Medicine exam marking

On my medicine paper i am curious as to whether anyone knows how they are marked. I know that there is no negative marking.
I wrote an answer for a question that was correct, however i started it off by saying that the system was activated due to an increase …. However, the system was actually started as a result of a decrease. Can i gain any marks for the parts of the answer that was correct, or will i lose all marks because I wrote increase all of my other points would have been the opposite way round. If that makes any senes?
Kicking myself as it was 5 marks.

Thanks
