Worried about my friends - Parents not allowing them to move out
Hello,
I am friends with two twins from my course and I am very concerned about them because their parents' aren't allowing them to move out despite them being 21 years old.
They spend 3-4 hours commuting to and from uni everyday and it's affecting them negatively. They regularly get less than 4 hours of sleep each night which is really affecting their ability to participate at uni.
They said it would benefit them greatly if they could get accommodation, but they aren't sure how to talk to their parents about that.
I really want to help them but I feel lost, please reply if anyone has ever experienced a similar thing and let me know how you dealt with it.
