gcses and universities

I’m currently in year 11 and I want to study psychology at university, my dream is to go to Kings college or UCL. However I am currently sitting the foundation maths and the highest grade I can get is a 5, would this effect my chances into getting into those universities as on the website is states that those who want to study psychology must have higher than a grade 5.
If you want to study psychology at a university that requires a grade above a 5 then you’ll need to resit GCSE maths on the higher tier to get that grade.

Psychology is a very maths/stats heavy degree. The maths requirements are not negotiable. They don’t want to admit students who will struggle or fail.
