When you say "drop this course", do you mean abandon your degree entirely? Or is "English comm" a unit within your degree? Is it an optional unit, which you could switch for another?

It is not optional unit , It this like you have take in any year until graduation so as an first year do i have to take it?

Well, you would need to check with you uni to see what their rules are. But if you're correct when you say "you have take in any year until graduation" then it may be that you don't need to do it this year.
