I have a friend who got a preliminary offer, does anyone know what this means? I’ve only heard of either conditional or unconditional.

Using the 'Ask a question' button on the menu bar doesn't always put the question in the correct forum.

I tend to go to the forum I'm interested in and then click on 'Start new discussion'. Here is list of all the forums on TSR, which might be worth bookmarking:

Please note that the forum focuses on applicants to UK unis so you might not get many responses to questions about HKU. :smile:
