Studying modules at the Open University

If I want to complete a stage at the open university in one year, and then for the next two(having other commitments) not being able to study, can I then continue studying my degree until i complete it without any problems? So in other words is it okay to study 120 credits in one year full time, and then study 0 credits for the next two years(so study nothing), and then continue studying until completed, all while on a part time duration. Or can you not study 0 credits in a year?

If you study full time for one year and then not study for two years you'll need to do a deferment with student support (ie: let them know you plan on taking a break for two years). You should be fine to pick up the degree after that but you'll need to double check with OU directly.
