Applying to Uni, No recent study

Hi,
I'm looking to go back to University to study Nursing. However I haven't been in education for 10 years. I have been in employment.

I know most if not all universities want recent study..

I've already previously done a Access to HE course. Does it need to be a L3 course? Could I apply for a degree with foundation year?

*I'm also going to check with individual Universities but asking here in the meantime.

Thanks for any help.

Access is level three, however, it is entirely up to the university if they would consider that and your employment history for a place of acceptance.

I did an access course in 2014 and haven’t done any study after that. I got interviews for all 5 unis and offered places x

Hi! I am about to start my nursing degree next month. I haven’t been in education since 2017 ☺️ there is a girl I met who’s on my course and hasn’t been in education since 2014. I hold a previous degree and the other girl did an access course and previous BTEC. It’s definitely do able! As long as you have your maths and English GCSEs x
