Starting an A-Level Blog

Hello! I am current in the First Year of my A levels at NatMatSci and I thought making a blog will help me focus more and document my studies so here I am. I am a 15 year old from Spain and I want to study Mathematics at Cambridge. I am taking Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Chemistry and am predicted A*A*AA but my chemistry grade will probably be A* again soon. I got four 7’s, five 6’s and a 5 in my last year of MYP (out of 7). So yeah hopefully someone will read this 🫶

What do you think? Because I thought about it but at the same time I feel like its more about keeping up than actually growing my grades? Although I want to bump everything up to A* so whatever feels appropriate

Grow your Grades is more about documenting your academic, rather than just improving your grades. I think it is more to give it a catchy name rather than specifically just growing your grades.

I can move it to GYG if you want to, but if not it can remain here.

No, I'm starting A Levels there! I'm glad it's been nice, and I'm really excited to go in Sept!
Hii! I'm also doing a gyg blog and I'll be going into Year 12 in September. The subjects I'm taking are biology, chemistry and maths. Hopefully we can support and motivate each other

Hi Evaristo,
I am interested to enroll to NatMatSci, would like to seek your comments about the school, such as teachers' support, pastoral care, study vibe...Do you recommend this school? Thanks

Im not the OP but i also go to NatMatSci, so I might be able to help!

It’s actually been very nice! Everyone is very nice and encouraging. Also, it’s relatively small, so teachers are able to give more support, such as study sessions after school and will be able to help you more during class. Pastoral care is also pretty good as well
I think that there is also many opportunities, both to study your a level subjects but to do things outside your course as well. If you’re someone who is really passionate about STEM, you’ll be able to settle in quite quickly, and teachers are always willing to see you push yourself.
Also, if you’re interested in boarding, the rooms are really cozy and they give you a desk as well so you can study comfortably.

Overall, if you’re an academic person who is really interested in STEM and are planning to take it into high level unis, i’d really recommend going!
if you have any questions feel free to ask
