Should I change my firm?

I am unsure whether or not I should change my firm UCAS choice.
Currently, I have selected Cardiff uni, but I am having second thoughts and I am considering Exeter now.
The course is Mech Eng, for a bachelors for both.
In the long term, I am interested in finance, maybe taking a MSc in finance after a BEng.
Which uni is better in terms of engineering course and future job prospects?
(I am still in the 14 day window)

Where do you think YOU will thrive?

Personally I’d avoid Exeter for mech eng - they planned to close the dept 15 or so years ago, got rid of all the staff and students and then started it all back up from scratch. That’s not the sign of a healthy department usually.

Oh right, never knew this. Thanks for the heads up.

I think i'd do well where my course is of a high quality, with a lot of department support.

What did you think of the feel of the cities when you visited?
Stick with Cardiff.
Its very normal to start thinking 'have I made the right decision' at this point - you have, and for all the right reasons.
Its a fantastic Uni and it has a great reputation for Mech - Exeter doesn't.

Time to get on with your revision - and stop over-thinking this.
