"Don't meet girls at clubs"

why the **** do people say that ? sayin they're slags etc etc, for your infromation, the vast majority of teenage girls go clubbing regurlarly, so I really don't understand it

also people say "meet someone in the library or at uni " but im sure they go clubbing as well..

I've only met about 20 girls at uni that I truly liked. Unfortunately, not all of them actually liked me back (3 of them really, really did - it was so obvious) - I've got this trait in my personality whereby I find myself not empathising with others, I kind of look down on people and I push people away when they get too close so relationships are difficult if not possible. But meh, it doesn't get me down too much at all; the amount of people I've known whose social lives die overnight because they've entered into a relationship is something else. Most people my age are in one for the sake of it, and don't really want to be.

Going clubbing allows you a bit of easy going fun. Inhibitions are lowered and it's generally a good laugh. Hint: you can have plenty of very fun nights out without meeting girls.
