First of all, if you want to tell a person you like them, you doing it completely wrong. If I personally received that text from a close friend, I would automatically assume they were joking. If you wanted a reply in return, you should have asked her how she is, or what she's up to etc.

Secondly, 15 minutes is nothing. Sometimes, I don't text back after hours and it's never been an issue.

If you're so keen on her, tell her directly and not by text.

ONLY if this guy was really charming and if I liked him, would I find it remotely funny. Since I don't know OP personally, I can't vouch for him. I know guys like this, though. And they're all single and creepy. No offence, OP.

Just a bit difficult to reply to, whether she likes you or not. If I did like you, I'd probably ignore that message though I'd be smiling to myself over it.

If you socialise with her and like her, she already knows it. Very hard to find those things. So all you've done is put it out there in the open, and the next move is hers.

My advice is; just text her again and apologise, say you were only messing.

imo, there are a lot better ways of telling her that you like her. you should just say it straight out, or tell her she's beautiful or something similar.
