I'm in BGP standard too, doing law though, are you paying the first instalment on the 2nd or have you gone about deferring it until the first student loan payment?

Did you send in a picture for that Personal Profile card? I had an email about it around 2 months ago about a missing document, but I went to a festival and completely forgot about it, only just remembered now.

I deferred the first instalment but I put the deposit through the other day...so hopefully it'll arrive and be acknowledged this week, given that they probably closed for the bank holiday

The recommended method is via bank transfer, the page with all the account details is HERE

I assume you can just write in the title for why the money is being transferred, I.E First instalment + deposit.
And they can track who's paid it in.

I'm not too sure though, not really used to this sort of stuff :l

yeah you do bank transfer and there's space for a reference number, put your student id number as the reference number (if you don't know your id, log onto your broadgate park account thing and its on the left)

I'm with Santander and I've just looked and I can't find any space for a reference number

I'm with HSBC and the reference number is the second box for me on the payment page, underneath a box asking who it is for.

Is there anything similar to a reference number for you? You might have to contact UPP if you can't find it.

The payment page is for both Nottingham and BGP, so I'm guessing the money is to be accredited to UoN and then UPP BGP just take the money from the university as part of the deal?

As there's no title I assume we just pay the first instalment plus deposit and they can easily figure out that the deposit has been paid as well. Think it has come to £1666.25 altogether. Trying to pay now and get it over with.

What time are people moving into catered halls? I know you can move in from 9 but are people getting there that early. It's my brother's birthday and he goes to Loughborough so parents want to drop me off as early as possible to go and see him after but I don't want to be the only one there looking stupidly eager.

Okay, so if I were to pay the instalment in a few days time when I get some extra money in then it would be fine to get through to them on the right time and I don't really have any time to go into my branch as I'm working the rest of this week and it'll take longer to transfer if I did go into my branch to sort it all out, I'm sure others have also paid by Santander so it shouldn't be an issue I hope

I think that sounds fine, as long as it goes through on/before the 2nd sept. Don't leave it too long though because I'm assuming they're not in office on the weekend.

I called up today to figure it all out and basically they said its okay to send it on Friday as they give everyone a weeks leeway because some misinterpret it as asking for the money on the 2nd when they're actually asking for it all by the 2nd, so yeah I'll send it off as soon as I can
