It was AQA iirc (he was on the same board as me).

What about if they declared they were atheist and rejected Islam (and thus persisted to maintain their homosexuality)?

Any books that you found particularly helpful? Also, you mentioned that you trade in a virtual US stock market - what is this called and can anyone sign up?

Most probably kick them out.

A few introductory books:

Madura, J. Financial Markets and Institutions;
An Introduction to Global Financial Markets by Stephen Valdez & Phil Molyneux;
Saunders, A. & Cornett, M.M. Financial Markets and Institutions;
Fabozzi, J.F., Modigliani, F., Ferri, M.G. Foundations of Financial Markets and Institutions.

MarketWatch.com and yes. The markets are real, the capital is fictional.

why do you work in Investment Banking? Isn't it Haram?

Because I wish to go into trading at a HF (pref equities) and IB is a route into that profession.

You'd kick your own child out onto the streets simply because they were homosexual?

Disgusting.

The traders do, yes. I have limited access. Each department uses there own set of applications, although some overlap.

I would rather not disclose, sorry.

I can't conclusively say. Most analyst roles are filled with uni grads and the higher the level the older people get. Although I'd say on average pretty young bucks 26-30. I don't ask people for their age so that's pretty much speculation.

Alright, I'll be on then hopefully.

Freakonomics for economics is pretty good.

Depends what you're intrerested in regarding Investment Banking. But here are a few good introductory reads:

A few introductory books:

Madura, J. Financial Markets and Institutions;
An Introduction to Global Financial Markets by Stephen Valdez & Phil Molyneux;
Saunders, A. & Cornett, M.M. Financial Markets and Institutions;
Fabozzi, J.F., Modigliani, F., Ferri, M.G. Foundations of Financial Markets and Institutions.

The normal AQA Economics book, tutor2u, PajHolden (and other YouTube sources), Economicshelp, various news channels, investopedia and anything is possible.

Quite tall for my age, I assume. 6'0 - 6'2, somewhere in this region.

Interesting stuff.

Would you like to move to a trading floor, hunt for clients etc? I've got some contact in this field (not of my doing) and it's pretty hit and miss.
