Can someone help on fifth Uni choice?

I've already decided on 4 uni's based on reputation, location and student life in each city. However I'm struggling to decide on the last one. I'm applying to Bristol, UCL, Southampton and Cardiff for Electrical engineering. I want to find the balance of being in a city with great social life and reputation of course.

I've been looking at birmingham, nottingham, sheffield and manchester as the final choice. Can anyone give some advice on the unis and what the cities themselves are like and discuss pros and cons of each one?

They are all large cities with good student life. I would suggest that you consider a good insurance choice as well, as the Universities that you have selected, they give more or less the same offers...

look into Swansea brand new campus just opened for engineering and business including research base for rolls Royce. also What Uni university of the Year 2014. Campus has direct access to a beach and Swansea has numerous sports facilities including a watersports centre. There is a street called wind street with around 20 bars and restaurant and there are you tube videos made by university students. The city is smaller than those mentioned but has most things other than an international arena and expensive shops like John Lewis, Laura Ashley and the likes.
As far as your other choices all are big cities known for their shopping and nightlife so you could choose whichever you like. Birmingham for example has 2 arenas a fabulous concert hall a few theatres and numerous bars and clubs. Both Birmingham and Nottingham unis are on green campuses a couple of miles out of town whilst Manchester is apparently in the middle of town. All have excellent sports facilities. As the previous poster as said you need to consider an insurance option and I don't believe the likes of Birmingham Manchester and Nottingham will really give you that

I've been looking at Sheffield which offers ABB so that's an insurance. I like the look of the campus and it's right by the peak district. Student life is high also. From looking, Sheffield has a strong engineering department as well.

I'm more interested in the city as the Uni's are all pretty much on par with eachother academically. I wanted to get a few people's opinions on student life in each. Everyone I've spoken to about brimingham for example weren't overly positive about the place. I can't exactly go an visit each place.
