Just had my last ever cigarette

I'm creating this thread to vent when I inevitably get withdrawal. I've been a smoker for a year and a half now. Ten a day which quickly escalated to 20 a day. I'm sick of it now! On top of continuing to smoke coming with the price of more likely than not dying of cancer (not to mention a number of other fatal illnesses), I'm sick of it for other reasons as well. I think it increases my anxiety and makes me very self-conscious around non-smokers (always washing my hands/making sure I don't smell of cigarettes whenever I'm going to be around non-smokers). So fingers crossed!

Good luck mate, quitting smoking is easy i have done it loads of times
Good Job!!! Right way to go!!! It may seem hard at first but it will get easier!!!!
Good luck. It is gross.
I don't think you ever get to the stage that you were at before you started. I quit cigarettes 9 years ago and I still miss it. But, unlike you, I found it actually really helped my anxiety so I miss that about it.
