Advice for A2. Need Help. Urgent!! University help

Hi,
BACKGROUND INFO:
I'm a student at Uxbridge college and I just did my first year of A levels.
I was very lazy this year and my attitude was that only mathematics counts this year so I will only try for that subject. I now know how stupid that was.
My results were Chemistry: D Maths: B Physics: E
Now my college is not letting me carry on in to A2 physics.
I want to do chemical engineering and was aiming for unis requiring AAB-ABB. I am able but just very lazy and get very distracted very easily.
Most universities ask for Chemistry and Maths and a third A Level.
My physics teacher is the one who denied me.

MY QUESTION:
I have until Tuesday to re-enrol for my college.
What are my options and the best way to get in to uni from my position?
My college is saying to me to do 2 A2s and 1 AS but that sounds mediocre.

Some options I thought of not in order of preference:
I can do a BTEC and 2 A Levels.
Do physics A2 privately but then I need tutoring.
Do the 1 AS with 2 A2s and take a gap year and finish the AS.
Do the 1 AS and 2 A2s and that's it.
BTEC and 1 A Level.
Give up on life? (just joking but I feel very de-motivated right now. I woke up at 10am and still haven't left my bed and it's almost 2pm).
Anything else? (Apprenticeship?)

My GCSEs are good enough to take any route possible.
English: A
Maths: A
Physics: A
Chemistry: B
Biology: B

A gap year sounds like a good option to go for and get the third A2 in that year or look at doing a foundation year.

I forgot to mention that I am a re-sit student so this was my second time doing AS as I did different A Levels before I found my likingfor chemical engineering
