Kings College London low on Computer Sci ranking but high starting salary?

Just to explain:

Kings College London is 30th on the Uni rankings in terms of Computer Science:

However, compared to like Newcastle and Lancaster (25th, 16th on the Uni rankings) they have a very high graduate starting salary?

Lancaster starting salary: 24k

I know that they only survey a little amount of people, but does anyone have an explanation for this?

The main factor that drags Kings down is the low student satisfaction, which is not relevant to graduate prospects/employability.

Also Kings graduates are likely to work in London which generally have higher salaries (and expenses as well).

Probably a lot more employment opportunities around london unis, thats also the average salary of people after six months some can get higher and some lower furthermore employers dont take rankings very seriously when the university already has high credibility.
I have an offer from kings for comp sci not if im gonna firm it though :s-smilie:

I haven't even sent off my UCAS yet...I'm so behind :/

yh i was predicted AAB like you they gave me an offer of AB with adition to my arabic level from last year.

Arabic? Nice, man. I speak it but didn't do any a-levels/gcse's toward it.
