Best/most flattering outfit to impress a guy?

Let's say you're meeting a guy after several years and you've always had a crush on him (irrelevant but still), what should one wear for best impact? No silly answers please.

For reference, I'm 5ft9, size 8 so what would be the ideal outfit?

i.e. Skinny jeans and cute top. Skater dress with heels. Etc

What situation are you meeting up with him in? For example, if you're going out on a dinner date with him, then yes wear a dress and make an effort like the suggestions above.

But if you're going to the cinema, park, shopping etc. I'd play it down a lot. Skinny jeans, cute top, ankle boots (nothing too high though) etc. I really like the ripped tight jeans and baggy white T look at the moment; maybe with a messy bun (though unsure of your hair length).

It's very hip hugging, its a skater dress with a corset! The model just doesn't have hips.

I agree, black and red are my go to colours.

If you show enough leg (this dress shows thigh) you do not need to show cleavage. Otherwise it's OTT.
