NCS

Is anyone going NCS on the 16th July? If you are, i thought it could be a good idea to get to know each other before hand

NCS stands for National Citizen Service, in which students in year 11 or 13 (i believe) go to 4 weeks away from home during summer, you can check out their site

The good thing is that it gets you out of your comfort zone and tests your skills in different ways. However, for some reason, the zone or district or whatever that call it don’t all do the same thing and some people have better experience than other. My zone (I think it was 6 in Lewisham), we didn’t do much when we went camping for a few days , we mostly did “team building” games. I think it depends on what supervisor you get because our one wasn’t that great and left on the third week
