I am so proud to be a member of the Conservative Party.

We are the most wonderful people in the world - keeping taxes low and teh economy strong.

I kiss my membership card, as I am so proud to belong to this party.

We will deliver a strong and orderly Brexit, and I am proud that it is my party that gave the people a choice in a referendum.

In the next election, we will win this, and keep the country strong, stable, and above all, Blue!

I am proud to be a member of the Conservative Party!

Yea see what you mean, strong and stable eh?

You cannot be serious
-homeless people up
-child poverty up
-Brexit failed
-publics trust in politics at an all time low
-wealth division increasing by the day
-UK borrowing up

It is actually impossible to do any worse than what you have done since 2010?
Agreed but it was satire lol

How has borrowing went up? It seems to have gone up from 2008-2013 I wonder who was in power then?

I am a pretty passionate hater of the tory party these days, but some of your points are a little off.

Borrowing is down - they have been reasonably successful at cutting the deficit, although they still missed all of their entirely unreasonable promises/targets.

Income inequality is growing overal, but is lower then it was under the last labor government pre-financial crisis, and we are pretty much inline with the rest of the world when it comes to income equality, and how its been growing. Its more a manifestation of globalisation, rathern then a problem caused by either labor or the Tories. It would take a very very radical policy shift to do something about it. Higher taxation alone wouldn't work, you need a complete economic shift.

- public trust in politics is only partially the conservatives fault. Sure brexit is entirely their fault, and its effect on public trust falls at their feet. But the other aspect of culture that's shifting the publics trust is the increasing polarazation/radicalisation of both the left and the right - which is happening outside of the tory party.. The left trust the right less, and the right trust the left less.. conservatives being quite centerist in general are not really to blame of this part of the publics lack of trust. In terms of large events you could call the big 3: Expenses scandle, Financial crisis, Brexit. Those were the huge three moments trust was erroded.. only 1 is uniquely the conservatives fault.

- child poverty is actually falling, in absolute terms. Its lower now then it was in the early 200s, and pre-financial crisis. In relative terms it is increasing, but relative poverty is not 'poverty' it just how many people are 'poor'

- homeless + brexit I agree with.

Interesting graph which proves me wrong and right at the same time. I am longer a member of the Labour Party, the last time I knew the tories had spiralled us into more debt and borrowed more than labour had in 13 years in only 5 years! Of course the real issue is the banking crisis which is a direct result of relying too much on the right wing direction of the country and removing socialism from government.

What the graph does show is the tories borrow more than labour, dispite the untrue myth labour do.

But why did Labour increase the borrowing so horribly high from 2008 to 2013?

They didn't they list power in 2010 you're question is a little inaccurate.

In 2008 we had a global financial crash and fortunately was forced to nationalise several banks, the government had to borrow to do this to protect the homes and interests of the British people. However Labour lost power in 2010 and you may be aware of the Conservative led coalition government, re-privatised these national assets that they inherited from the Labour government borrowing, but they gifted then off to the wealthy and didn't pay off the debt with the money received, not only this they continue to borrow!

I will admit I typed that message in a rant off the top of my head, however while I respect not all of it is literally 100% it's not far off.

1) homeless people have soared under the tories which they always do from my life experiences!

2) official figures show thaf child poverty is on the rise, well poverty in general is on the rise the gap between the richest and poorest is growing. Let me ask you this 20 years ago it was an occasion when you saw a Lamborghini Ferrari or some type of supercar, now they a pretty much weekly occurrence. The status quo is working well for the rich.

3) Brexit failed, this is solely a Conservatives problem the Conservatives took us into Europe, the Conservatives campaigned to keel as in Europe and the Conservatives started to fall out about Europe within themselves when it grew into the EU.

4) public trust, OK this even I cannot blame solely on the Conservatives, labour may well be more to blame for this than the tories if I'm perfectly honest but the Conservatives are in power and have been for the last decade so, the buck stops with them!

5) wealth division - covered in point 2

6) UK borrowing up - well I stand corrected however I think you are vastly mistaken about the Conservatives doing well regarding our national debt! Have a look.

I was ranting, I've just explained the reasons behind my rant, for right or wrong mate

One day, I would like to be a Conservative MP.

You're welcome to join the rest of the Tory grassroots in Mr Farage's Brexit Party. I've changed my allegiance a week ago and wish our party good luck in Peterbrough.
