i am just saying that wealthy people who vote Labor are taking the piss.

Why? That makes no logic, why does you're social class stop you from having left wing morals?

The Tories need DUP support to get anything passed. Much more likely with Jeremy Hunt, who has never fathered a child out of wedlock, nor had a relationship that allegedly ended with an abortion.

Lordy, don't go off about religion  Christianity the left wing religion the right wing people love, Muslim, the right wing religion that left wing people love.

Hunt may well be the perfect little Christian but we don't need to pamper towards the dup in their looney ways. In any case the law says we are leaving the European Union and there is more, countries and Country leaders that needed to agree to a further extension otherwise we will leave. What's in Parliament think they are bigger than they are, particularly the speaker!

Would love to know how you reach that conclusion. If well off people pay their taxes and are content to vote for a fairer society, even it it imposes more taxes on them, surely that is their right and choice. Are you assuming that to be rich is incompatible with being a socialist? Try reading Fully Automated Deluxe Communism.

It's just a ******** story kicked up by remainers and given way too much air time.
My Dad's big bet on Jeremy Hunt is looking increasingly shrewd.

Lol I had a quid on him, the odds was ridiculous for a two horse race and let's be honest borris could do anything and win me a few quid.

I wish I'd had a time machine and put a double on trump and borris at the sane time in say 2013! Lol

About as unlikely as Frankie Dettori winning four straight races in a row at Royal Ascot. :teehee:
I am not a Boris fan however i would not like to think this should effect his campaign, he has the right to a private life.

He should lose to Hunt because he is a populist that believes in nothing (Hunt at least believes in the status-quo), not because his neigbours gave the press a story.

This kind of proves that those alike will always vote for each other.

Btw Brexit isn't and never will be in Boris or Hunts hands. Hunt knows this and so does Boris but Boris is happy to lie in order to win.

That didn't really make any sense whatsoever.

That is exactly £1 more than I would be prepared to lose on Mr Hunt.

Lol I think I can stand the loss mate

If it comes in least I'll have something to smile about because Brexit will be done for and uncertainty will continue.

What do people think?

After this pathetic stitch-up he will walk it. I think he's a bumbling accident waiting to happen but I would now like him to win if only to piss of the Guardianistas.

Hahaha true, but spend that £5.50 well 😉, seriously 4.5/1 against in a 2 horse race, fullofsurprises had better not be counting on a large inheritance because of his dad's bet.

Couldn't agree more, BoJo is a knob but not as bad as those self righteous, pseudo socialist Guardianista shysters.

Johnson is not a populist, he is a liberal one nation conservative who has the electoral appeal to win a general election.

Hunt isn't new and is John Major (Mr Grey) Mk 2 and is the continuity candidate of Mays failed premiership and he wants to continue with the withdrawal agreement minus the backstop which has failed 3 times. Hunt is the most hated cabinet member and will not win an election.
this is looking more and more dire..

I have never been a boris fan, but he keeps going down in my estimation every time he ducks a debate, refuses a question etc. A leader doesn't duck a challenge, it should be that simple, but apparently if your power hungry torries then cowardly limping your way to power is fine.

Hunt is May 2.0, hes may after a sex change, with only a tiny bit more charisma, and just as little hope of actually being a good strong leader.

So we have a choice between:
a charisma black hole whose only claim to fame is being hated by every doctor and nurse in the country..
and
a man whose only strength is his ability to talk and make people like him and whose biggest weaknesses are his policies and ideas... who is now refusing to talk in public.. and instead wants to rely on his ideas/policies

Upposing the two of them at the next general election will be a geriatric old man who never grew out of his revolutionary days supporting the proletariat against the bourgeois without realising that the proletariat hate him, and the bourgeois make up all of his loving supporters...

Add to that a green party who will gladly **** over everything to get 0 emissions, only to be shocked when the climate keeps changing after and we are left with no economy to handle it..
A lib dem party who will jump on any progressive cause to try and get their voter base back..
An SNP party who want their sovereignty back from london, at any cost, even if it means giving it to Brussels..
An irrelivant welsh party who don't even believe in their own calls for independence..
And a brexit party led by a man surfing on a crowd of workers, whose real intention is to **** over the workers and establish a low-tax haven for his banker buddies...

We are ****ed

I know he flipflops and says whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear, but I used to think he was underneath it all, vaguely centre-left (by Tory standards) and not that bad a chap. I now genuinely think the reverse. Having studied his antics as Mayor of London quite closely, I am convinced he is just another self-serving laissez-faire extreme capitalist with some kind of vision of the country that most definitely does not encompass a compassionate attitude towards the sick, the poor, etc and is everything about serving (on hands and knees, with tongue firmly in position) the interests of global finance capital.
