No point of attending lectures !

Most of the lecturers in my uni aren't good in explaining things. They literally only read the slides on the screen without even trying to explain them, which makes no point of attending lectures.
Do I have to change the uni or it's all universities are like that?? And they're not, how can I find out how tutors teach before enrolling in another uni?

what uni? And no it's not like that in all the universities. Ask other students (from the university that you want to transfer). In my university I had only one lecturer who was like that.

What uni and what course? It entirely depends on this.

For me it depends on the lecturer. Some read off their notes, a lot of them go through working out and derivations on the blackboard (although that is often quite similar to their own lecture notes).
If your lecturers are just reading off a powerpoint and adding nothing to them but their voice then I'd agree that you're wasting your time in attending them.

Yup. It's biomedical science course
Not all uni's are like that, a few will probably teach that way but not all of it. At least you have some form of visual aid though so be grateful for that; I have one lecturer in my uni that prefers to lecture the "traditional way" meaning, literally just lecturing, without a board.

Yea unfortunately this is the case although it was quite promising in the open day that I attended before choosing my current uni.

Could u give me any advice relating to transferring?
The thing is that my uni is close to my house and I'm worried of transfering to another uni with a good reputation but ending up suffering from the same issue (my current uni has a quite good reputation but this doesn't match at all with reality). So in this case I would be having tow issues of distance and quality of teaching.

Or at least your A level grades, so we know you don't go to a Russell group. That's mainly the people complaining. Why did i get subpar grades, why does that yield a sub par academic experience... The mystery lol.
Read the notes from the powerpoint as I find that quite useful. Then, just do practice questions.
There are also many online resources that you can use like Youtube where there is probably an explanation for pretty much everything (everything I've needed so far anyway).
It depends on the lecturers. I have had some rubbish lecturers who just rambled on about nothing, others who just read the slides but also some really good ones that are able to engage you in the lecture. I think it also depends on the course. My course is mostly wider reading, so we have to study by ourselves, whilst some of my flatmates are mostly contact time based with 20hours a week. The contact based courses tend to have lecture slides read to them because most of the information that they need to know is in them, mine however tend to have vague lecture slides that make you read around the topics, we are given the essentials.
You could have a look to see if your university offers a feedback platform. My university has unitu where we can post suggestions and issues. Other unis have an email or person you can contact with feedback.
