Student finance help!!

I've been looking into applying for student finance, but when I tried to apply I was told I wasn't eligible because my father has lived and work outside the UK for longer than a year, however as he isn't contributing towards paying for fees and mother and stepfather are, can I still apply and am I eligible?

You may have to send a postal application instead of doing it online, as I've heard that if your circumstances are different in some way then the online system doesn't accept you as eligible. Try ringing Student Finance on 0845 300 50 90 and asking what to do next, as I think the postal application would allow you to put that you live with your mother and stepfather and put their incomes instead of your mother's and father's.
