going on holliday, need passport.

Ive recently completed my student finance application but now its asking me for proof of identity such passport, the only problem is, im going on holiday in a month or so and would like to know if i sent it off now, would i get it back in time?

Ill be doing it 1st class, recorded delivery.

Hi there.

Is the passport a UK passport? If so you can fill in a passport details form found here: http://bit.ly/1dymOtP which means you don't actually have to send your passport.

If it is a non-UK passport you would need to send the original. Once received it would take around a week to be processed and when being returned we would also send this back via recorded, signed for delivery, so it would be returned pretty quickly.

If you send it to us, and become concerned at the level of time it's taking us to send it back, you can contact us on 0300 100 0607 where an adviser can request an evidence retrieval and have it sent back ASAP.
