Overall spendings for 1 academic year at uni: SURVEY

Hello,

Although I am in my first year, I welcome all year students to participate in this little survey. Plus, you don't have to be at Cardiff uni to take part.

I have just completed my first year at Cardiff Uni and today I tried calculating all my spending (academic year 2013 to 2014). I haven't taken into account my university hall rent. It includes all other stuff like shopping at Lidl etc. For me, it comes to 1770.71 pounds, beginning from Sept 2013 to June 2014. I calculated this today because I had the constant feeling that I was spending so much money mindlessly.

What tips/ tricks do you use to cut down on your spending?
