Advice on a girl I like

Currently I'm 17 and really like this girl that goes to the same school as me, I've got her snapchat off a friend and I've been snapchatting her for the past two evenings although it has been me trying to keep the conversation alive I've been told she finds me "alright" but the conversation has ended with her opening and not replying the next morning.

Today I walked past her and her friend with my friend but I didn't realise who it was and didn't make the move to start a conversation, this is bad as she hangs out with another gang of people, I don't know how I'm going to actually get a conversation going with her as I see it as her seeing me badly now and I don't know whether to snapchat her this weekend as I have no idea what to say to her....
