How to create a History revision video

So I had an idea but have no clue as to how to go about making it become a reality.

Essentially I want to compile a video that combines all of the Horrible History clips that relate to medicine. However, I have no idea what sort of software I could use to do this. I'd want to organise it into time periods, is there anything better than Movie Maker free?

Also is there anywhere online I can get all the HH episodes or would I have to buy a box set and go from there?
