Leaving home before Uni
If I leave home before I go to uni, will the amount of money I receive from student finance increase as my parents will not be contributing to the amount of money I will have during my time at Uni. It states on the student finance sites to put your annual household income, will this decease to 0 as I would no longer be living with my parents?
I believe you have to be independent for 3 years before they stop taking parental income into account
No it won't unless you have been self supporting, with proof, for 3 years or you are 25 years old or older.

This, but you don't have to move out for that time to count as independent, you count as independent if you've had your own income through work or benefits for the 3 years before coming to uni
