Working at uni and going home?

I'm hoping to get a job while at uni (well, I need to) but the thing is I'll want to go home to see family pretty often. Ideally I'd want to visit home every few weekends and during holidays.

For students who work, how do you fit it around going back home? The amount of time I'd realistically want to spend there would be too much for me to take the odd day off.

It's probably in your best interest to find a job on campus, or find somewhere with a 0 hour contract. These are more flexible and would allow you to travel home more frequently although you might not be able to go home every single weekend.
