Social life

What is Surrey Social and Night life like?
Hiya, 1st year here

I'm not much of a 'clubbing' personality but many of my flatmates are so I can advice! haha.

We have 'Rubix' on campus which is the student union nightclub- been there a few times, it's very good considering it's on-campus. In town (20 minute walk away or a bus ride) there is popworld (which is apparently for 30 year old women who like to think they're still young..?) casino and bar 13. Bar 13 is apparently really good. They all have websites so check them out

Socially, there are lots of events held by the student union: theatre trips, cocktail nights etc. Oh, and wetherspoons is v. popular too.
And there's a cinema but we're students (i.e. too poor for that XD)

Finally a response! Haha, that 30 y/o women part was funny. Thank you that was very informative.

Also, I'm thinking of applying to international business. Would you know how lenient the uni is for this course? The requirements are AAA-AAB.

Ah, very nice.

I don't know about other courses but mine (music) asks for AAB-ABB and a lot of people I know on it didn't meet those requirements... as for any university, personal statements are really important and can make up for a dropped grade or 2

Good luck!
